Don't Scream

Bored in my dorm, two of my friends, and I decided to watch Scream. We all had not seen it in so long, and we had nothing else to do, so what the heck.

Scream was an entertaining, scary movie with a good plot.

Scream wasn't that good. They made it too predictable, and to much screaming.

I thought this was a good movie scary movie to watch if you want to laugh at the dumb characters being killed. It seemed to me as if all the people who died wanted to die. They would knock the killer down then stand around to see what would happen next, instead of just running away as fast as they could. They played along with the killer’s game to long thinking it was someone playing a practical joke. It is also a great movie if you like blood. Blood is in every other scene. The tactics the killer uses, and the way he guts people is entertaining.

Summary

Casey is making popcorn on the stove and preparing to watch a movie when someone calls her phone and asks if she likes horror movies, and which is her favorite. They then play a trivial game on scary movies. The first prize is her life, in which she saves by answering the question right. The second prize is her boyfriend’s life, which is tied up on her porch, and she fails him by answering the question wrong. Her boyfriend is then gutted. She then plays a game of cat and mouse with the killer. She ends up getting caught, gutted, and hung from a tree.

The next day at school new reporters and policeman are everywhere. Everyone seems to be discussing the incident. Sydney, her boyfriend Billy, his friends Randy, and Stu, and her best friend Tatum all sit around talking about the event. This is too much for Sydney to handle since her mom was brutally murdered just the year before.

Sydney’s dad is leaving for a business trip so she decides to stay at her best friend’s house while he’s gone. While waiting for Tatum to pick her up, Sydney receives a call from the killer, “do you want to die Sydney?” She is then chased through the house by the killer and she runs into her bedroom. Billy comes through her bedroom window and startles her. He drops a cell phone from his pocket, and Sydney takes off back down the stairs and out the front door. She runs into Officer Dewey outside and Billy is arrested.

After leaving the police station, Sydney goes to Tatum’s house as planned, when she gets an unexpected call from the killer again.

Gail Weathers the reporter is at the school the next day to question Sydney about the incident. Throughout the entire day Sydney is taunted by vicious rumors and idiots running down the hall with scream costumes on. The killer then greets her in the bathroom, but Sydney manages to escape. School is cancelled and after everyone leaves the principal is killed.

Randy has a party later on that night. Tatum is killed when she goes to the garage to get more beer and is confronted by the murderer. While Sydney and Billy are in Randy’s parent’s bedroom the killer comes in and stabs Billy. Sydney ran, fell out of a window only to get up and see Tatum deed. She is then confronted by Randy and Stu so she runs back in the house.

Inside the house Billy falls down the stairs. Sydney, Billy, and Stu all end up in the kitchen where they explain to Sydney that they are the killers, and their motive. In the end Sydney manages to kill them both.

Five Rules if You Do not want to Die

There are five rules you must follow when being pursued by a murderer: Five, do not answer the door. Four, do not leave the house. Three, do not answer the phone. Two, do not try to escape, and the number one rule is, DON'T SCREAM.
