Welcome to the month of October, and what does that mean? Well, television around now is going to become progressively more and more focussed on monster and horror movies. However, times are changing, people are spending more time away from their televisions and spending quality time with their families... Of course their not, their all online watching videos of people riding flaming shopping carts down a hill behind their high school. Amongst the wonders of Youtube is occaisionaly some really entertaining, eduacational, or informational videos that stand above the other videos.
In dedication to the month of October, James Rolfe (better known as the angry video game nerd in the Youtube community) is going to review a different monster movie every day this month in near chronological order. I've sat down and watched his first five posts covering the classics The Cabinet of Dr. Calgari, Nosferatu, Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, and Frankenstein. So far I really like what I see and am very impressed with Rolfe's passion for movies an nostelgia. He also carries over some of his comical narration from his angry video game nerd personality. I can't put into words how much I urge all of you to take advantage of this simple way of brushing up on some horror movie history; as well as, watching some of these classics when they appear on television.
