Tempting Trailers

Typically when I think of trailers I see them as a way to try to make a genuinely bad movie look like a genuinely good movie. Unless I see a director I like or a very promising storyline, I'm always skeptic. Flashy images work too now to think of it. My favorite trailer would have to be Paprika actually, but since this is Misunderstood Monster here are some great horror movie trailers.

The Return of the Living Dead (1985): It could be the campy attitude or the music video quality to it, but I like it. There's also a group of punks and tar man asking for brains.

Videodrome
(1983): I like weird. Videodrome is definitely weird. All the flashing weirdness... The contemporary graphics only seal the deal.

Torso (1973): Where's the trailer? Here. It's probably the best horror trailer I came across lately. Thing is, I don't know if it was played during an R rated film or that skin as become more of a taboo since then but, it's got nudity. So yeah NSFW. Anyway I love how the name of the film, TORSO, is mentioned three different times each accompanied by an awesome guitar riff. Great music all around really.

Any trailers that made you wanna see that film, regardless of whether you've heard anything prior?
