There's a few movies coming out in theatres and on DVD I am really pumped to get my hands on. First up is 30 Days of Night, coming out October 17th which is guaranteed to be a new twist to vampire movies. From the previews I've seen, I'm thinking this is gonna be 28 Days Later meets Underworld. Looks like there will be loads of fresh faces with this film and will probably blow you away on the big screen. Next is Saw IV, coming out October 26th which is forcing me to rush through the first three films. I can't say much about this one except probably more puzzles, twists, and pain. Experiencing Saw on the big screen will probably give me chills I really hope this one delivers. The final notable big motion picture is a film adaptation of a Stephen King novel, The Mist. The previews aren't really catching me. I'm a fan of Stephen King movies, but the previews of these trapped store customers aren't really captivating me. I don't think I'll be lining up for this one, but hopefully catch it some day. Finally coming October 16 is Grindhouse Presents: Planet Terror. As noted before the two films of Grindhouse were most likely released in two parts for some marketing gimmick. However, buy this, screw Deathproof, Planet Terror is where it's at. I saw this on the big screen and was on edge of seat whole time hoping it never ends.
