Nightmare on Edgewood

Want to star in a horror movie of your own where here is your chance. Halloween is right around the corner, which means haunted houses everywhere are ready to open for business. Nightmare on Edgewood in Indianapolis, IN is an attraction that I attend every year and it never ceases to scare me. It’s like being in a horror movie and you’re the main character. It always has Freddy, Jason, and Scream as killers along with other ugly monsters. Meghan McCormick said in the October 20, 2005 issue of Intake magazine that

Once inside the house, expect to encounter various spooky scenes, along with spine-chilling characters, ranging from clowns, spiders and other creepy crawlies to Freddy, Jason and the Creeper from the 2001 horror film "Jeepers Creepers."

My first year going I remember entering one room where the scene was set up as if there had been an accident and your only way to keep going was to crawl through the backseat of the car. As you crawl through you notice the killer from Scream in the front seat, but you continue to go because he is sitting so still that you don’t suspect anything. Just as soon as you think you are about to get out of the car he jumps around and grab you by the feet.

As you move on you have to go up stairs, where you see Freddy flash before your eyes then he disappears. You can already anticipate what is going to happen next. You are forced to go into tiny craw spaces with dead bodies and rats. At the end as you leave you are chased by Jason with a chain saw.

Another reason to go to Nightmare on Edgewood is because it is also a fundraising event for Edgewood Athletic Association’s Annual Fundraising Event. Why not help the cause and enjoy yourself at the same time. This Haunted house will only cost you 13 dollars. What a low budget film!!

Other Great haunted houses in Indiana to visit are Asylum House, Fright Manor, and Necropolis.
